Google Isn’t Going Down Anytime Soon
Like the other horsemen, Apple has had a good fourth quarter, having increased revenue and profit, although its stock fell and it’s no surprise since the other horsemen also had the same pattern save for Amazon.
Google main source of revenue is its advertising platform that is home to more than a million daily advertisers, although they suffer from a slash in profit since they have to settle third party agents like browsers and platform like mail chimp that help integrate advertisement services.
Google has also reported that its increase in operating cost is due to the company’s intention to expand its investment in cloud computing and overtake its major competition: Amazon Cloud.
Google also recently recovered from the 24-hour ban by Apple (Facebook was also saddled for that ride).
The search engine giant has not responded but word has it that a corporate war between the three horsemen may just be brewing.
